Regular software renewals ensure that a company benefits permanently from software updates and bug fixes from the software manufacturer. We are very pleased that we were able to convince the successful MARKANT Handels und Service GmbH with a customized licensing model for the license renewal.
MARKANT Handels und Service GmbH (MARKANT) is fully exploiting the potential of its IBM software licenses with this year's license renewal. Instead of relying on IBM's traditional Passport Advantage model as in the past, MARKANT is using a licensing concept that has been specially adapted to the company for the first time. This was preceded by a detailed inventory analysis, in which we compared the existing licenses with the current requirements together with MARKANT and IBM. In a joint workshop, we also determined how the company will develop in the next few years in line with its strategic and operational goals.
